Privacy Policy
1. What we collect

2. What we don't do
We do not sell your data. We do not use your uploaded video or personal information to train third-party AI models. We do not share your content with other users — every account's data (clips, pipeline, connected channels) is isolated from every other account.
3. Third parties we use
To operate the Service, we rely on a small number of infrastructure providers, each with their own privacy practices:
- Stripe — payment processing (we never see or store your card details)
- Google / YouTube — OAuth login and, if you connect it, publishing to your channel
- Our hosting provider — runs the servers that store your account data and video files
- Anthropic — AI text analysis (clip ranking, titles, ideas). Only text such as transcript excerpts is sent, never your video files, and under Anthropic's commercial terms it is not used to train models
- Resend — sending account and report emails
- Sentry — error tracking, to catch and fix bugs (only technical error data, not your video content)
3a. Google API data use
Clipzaro's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Your YouTube data is used only to publish clips to your own channel and to display your own channel/video info back to you inside the dashboard — never for advertising, never sold, and never used to train AI models.
YouTube Analytics (read-only). If you grant the yt-analytics.readonly permission, Clipzaro reads your own channel's aggregate statistics (views, watch time, subscribers gained/lost, and per-video counts) solely to show them back to you on your Analytics page and to help you see which clips perform. We never use this data for advertising, never sell or share it, and never change anything on your channel through it. You can revoke access at any time in your Google account's third-party access settings.

Our use of YouTube data is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Your Google data is not shared with any other party, is not transferred to anyone except as needed to provide these features, and is never read by humans except with your permission for support or where required by law. You can revoke Clipzaro's access at Google's permissions page; after you do, we stop accessing your data and delete the stored tokens.
4. How long we keep data
We retain your account and content data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your stored content and personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain records (e.g. billing history) for legal or accounting purposes.
4a. Cookies
We use only essential cookies that keep you logged in and protect your session. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
5. Your choices
You can disconnect your YouTube/Google account at any time from your dashboard or from Google's own third-party access settings. You can export your pipeline data as JSON from the dashboard. You can request account deletion by emailing us at the address in section 9, and we will delete your account, videos, clips and connected tokens within 30 days. Uploaded source videos are also removed automatically after 14 days.
6. Security
Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. All traffic to the Service is encrypted over HTTPS. Access to production systems is restricted to the operator. As with any online service, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
