Terms of Service
1. Who this agreement is with
These Terms govern your use of Clipzaro (the "Service"), operated by Clipzaro ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
2. What the Service does
Clipzaro processes video you upload or connect (including via your own YouTube account) to identify, edit, caption, and schedule short-form clips, and to optionally publish them to platforms you connect (e.g. YouTube). You control what gets uploaded and what gets published — auto-publish is opt-in and can be turned off at any time in your dashboard.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the Service. Keep your password secure — we cannot recover it for you, only help you reset it.
4. Your content
You retain all ownership rights to video and content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transform that content solely to provide the Service to you (e.g. rendering clips, generating captions). We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it to train third-party models.
You're responsible for making sure you have the rights to any content you upload and publish, including footage, music, and likeness of others. We are not responsible for copyright, likeness, or platform-policy violations resulting from content you choose to publish.
5. Connected accounts (YouTube / Google)
If you connect a YouTube or Google account, you authorize us to upload and manage content on your behalf strictly according to the permissions you grant during that connection. You can disconnect at any time from your dashboard or from your Google account's third-party access settings.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly, unless otherwise stated) through Stripe. Trials, where offered, convert to a paid subscription automatically unless canceled before the trial ends. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard's billing portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no partial refunds are issued for unused time within a period unless required by law.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to upload or publish content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, or that violates the terms of any platform you publish to (e.g. YouTube's Community Guidelines). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
7a. Copyright / DMCA policy
We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect users of the Service to do the same. Clipzaro is a tool that processes video you upload or that you connect from your own account — we do not select, review, or endorse the content our users choose to process.
Repeat infringer policy. We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
Filing a takedown notice. If you believe content processed or hosted through the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent (contact below) that includes, at minimum:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it;
- Your contact information (address, phone number, and email address);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
Counter-notice. If you believe material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send us a counter-notice containing: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the material removed and its location before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address, phone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the U.S., a district where we may be found).

Note: to receive DMCA safe-harbor protection under U.S. law, this designated agent must also be registered with the U.S. Copyright Office's DMCA Designated Agent Directory (a short online filing with a small fee) — this page states our policy but registration is a separate, required step.
8. Service availability
We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may perform maintenance, and features may change as the product evolves.
9. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost revenue, lost content, or platform account actions (e.g. strikes, demonetization) taken by third-party platforms.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use section above.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
